Digital Silk Road (DSR) platform developed by Dubai Chamber. Their aim is to upgrade liquidity and productivity of supply chains through a “comprehensive automation process”. Before the Digital Silk Road, the government system in Dubai was to be modernized with blockchain technology. In 2018 Dubai updated its payment System. Natives do their payment through various payment portals like electricity bill, water to parking permits and dog licenses.

Conform and setting these payments was slow and time consuming. First staff must sort payments composed from different portals. After that they had to manually withdraw fees due to each department. Finally, they could transfer the remaining amounts. But this process required 45 days. With the help of blockchain technology they save weeks of staff time.
